This is just so "wow." I find it very ironic considering this year we had a lot of AU entries, but you did canon. However, last year you were on Team AU. You could have joined our team last year XP.
1. How in-character was this fic? 10/10 Looking back, writing TRC between chapters is difficult. I imagine this came sometime between Piffle and Lecourt. The characterization was spot on, so spot on, I really wished we had this as anime filler.
2. How well did this fic fulfill the prompt? 10/10 "Ghost in the shell." Little Brother and the whole mechanical colony and hive mind. Everything fit.
3. How much did you enjoy this fic overall? 10/10 Beautiful. I don't know how to be constructive. I know it wasn't much Kurofai, but I saw the building blocks of their relationship in this fic. The internal conflict within Fai and the tension was enough. The one thing Little Brother could not understand was Fai's split allegiance between Kurogane and the kids (even though they were supposed to be a means to an end) and his twin... condundrums always drive AIs into genocidal rage. I just really loved and felt for "Little Brother," an amazing and memorable antagonist. He was childlike in his cruelty and childlike in his wishes, equal parts sympathetic and equal parts "nope." Most of the sympathetic parts came from Little Brother's interractions with Sakura. Most of his "nope" part came from everything else. I could also go on about the Dreameater machine. Soemthing that was built to help destroy nightmares became a nightmare.
