Fun fact: I planned a scene involving almost drowning, apparently momentarily forgetting that that is one of my biggest fears. So... that happened.

Not only was Kurogane on point, but his backstory and character development are all worked in there so nicely.

Although extremely well written, the reason for my score is my own headcanon that fai and kurogane never got together until after the events of the Manga and that even if, I couldn't see kurogane being openly affectionate with Fai that early on in the manga. So that took away slightly from my enjoyment of it. :)
