[Team Dragon] (Out of the Frying Pan) One Night in Pandemonium

Title: One Night in Pandemonium
Prompt: Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire
Rating: M
Warnings: This fic contains brief instances of violence and magical themes, with explicit depictions of fire as a magical conduit. If fire is triggering for you, please exercise caution.
Author's Note: This fic was supposed to be 8000 words at most. Supposed to be. As you can clearly see, the fic had other ideas about how long it was going to be... [sweats]
~the end.

Flawless. Kurogane was a stunning representation of his character, and his inner monologue may have extended my life by ten years.
2. 10
Out of the FAI-ing pan, am I right?
... ok no ignore that bit. But YES, both metaphorically and literally, Kurogane gets tossed right into that fire. And it's GREAT. The theme comes around in the conclusion of the fic as well for good measure; he escapes a dying world only to, you know, accidentally be saddled with a new demonic husband and daughter. Which, as a professional exorcist, is just DELICIOUS.
3. 10!!!
I would vote higher than ten if at all possible. This fic made my entire week.

Re: VOTE
1. Fact: Kurogane's inner monologue was unspooling in my head in the most grumpiest, pissed off tone the whole time I was writing it, and it was gr9, 15/10, would recommend. HE'S SO GRUMPY BUT SO FUN. Use your extra years wisely, friend - like reading fic!
2. Well, he's certainly into the, ahem, FAI-re, as it were. If ya know what I mean. And Subaru definitely does, and would appreciate it not happening in his office. [eyebrow waggle] I had sooooo much fun with the continually throwing Kurogane into escalating situations, it was the greatest thing. And with great trial comes great reward - give him two weeks and he'll insist it was his idea to marry Fai and adopt Chii in the first place.
3. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ♥
THANK YOU SO MUCH OH GOSH I'M SO HAPPY YOU LIKED IT THANK YOU FOR READING AND FOR YOUR LOVELY VOTE
