To be honest, I never thought about it much, but only until after I thought about comparing/contrasting key events that happen at night/in the dark to fit the prompt did I realize he'd probably have trouble sleeping. Unlike Fai, who probably had much more nightmares, he's more capable of not letting dreams and nightmares affect ONCE he falls asleep - or at least now that's how I see it. It's now my new headcanon. :D
