I left this review on Xia's review board on FFN, but since you and her both wrote the cute fic I enjoyed, you need to know my feels:

"I appreciated this kidfic so much. This actually pays attention to the characterizations of Fai and Kurogane as young kids. I adore how they influenced each other's personality, how flustered kid Kurogane became and how Fai came out of his shell and teased around Kurogane. It's pure friendship until the end. By then it is also friendship but with something more. I did predict how it would end rather easily, but that did not take away the enjoyment factor. It was just joy, joy and chocolate."

In addition: One of my favorite little things was an overprotective Ashura.
