Set to "Arms" by Christina Perri. Her description of the song is that 'it's about letting yourself be loved.' I think this is one of, if not, the most fitting song for Fai's relationship with Kurogane.

This is so fitting and hurting and true... and the video-sequences are perfectly chosen. Wow. You are right, this song is a great description of Fai´s relationship with Kurogane... and not just theirs... ;__;

That icon of yours is making me so sad. I don't like seeing Syaoran (or any family member) so sad ;_____;

Fai's fears to get close and be loved is so heartbreaking; which makes it all the more poignant when Kurogane never gives up and Fai embraces it and lets himself be loved after all they went through. It's what I was aiming for in this AMV and I'm glad it gave you feels...even if they are pretty painful for most of the time.

Yes, it is hard to see this pain and hurt... I just still love the scene it is taken from ;_;

I admire Kurogane so much for his stubborn confidence... how could he be so sure that he, his help, his attention... his everything, is what Fai needs? For all he knew, he could be "clingy" and interfering and not wanted. Fai pushes him away often enough to discourage him. How did he know? *sighs*

I know right? I feel like if he kept a word (which isn't stated directly) that he wants to help Fai, and truly cares for him, then he never wants to back off, even if Fai consistently keeps a distance. Hell going on that journey and meeting the rest opened his caring and compassionate side again, something we greatly see when he was a boy (bby Youou ;______;).

He begrudgingly helps Syaoran learn how to fight with a sword, mentors him; encourages Sakura to grow and push her own limits. And then Fai - oh Fai, he just I don't know it's so beautiful and I can go on how much I love and adore him, but welp I'll just stop here before I babble forever.

(Well then I thought; if Fai was so deliberate on pushing Kurogane away after he became a vampire, then it's a great sign to Kurogane that well, Fai did feel close to him then. It was just a matter of waiting then??? Still man, that's dedication. ;____________;)

Gaaaah, all these feels!
I teared up at the scenes in Tokyo, because... well, it's the Tokyo Arc and because I was struck by the song, who describes so beautifully what Fai is feeling.
Amazing use of the scenes from the OVAs and I loved how let the video end with THAT smile.

Expressing emotions in my works is what I always strive to create and engender in people, so in a way I am happy to hear some parts of this made you tear up...even though it hurts. I'm glad you enjoyed. And yes, I wanted to end this AMV with those two smiling. Things are more hopeful for them. :'D
