[Mod] Let the votes commence!
I am proud to call to a close the posting period for the 2013 Fantasy vs Future Olympics! The writing is now officially over, let the voting commence!
Remember, you can vote without a dreamwidth account! All you need to do is one of the following:
- Use OpenID or another system to sign in and comment with your livejournal;
- Comment anonymously, but please provide some form of identity with your comment in the form of a link to an account of yours on another social media site, eg livejournal, tumblr, fanfiction.net - ie, "This was great and I really enjoyed it, 9/10! thisismyurl.tumblr.com". I will not be counting any votes without ID.
The only people who cannot vote are authors who participated in the challenge - if you signed up but had to drop out, by all means vote! The more voters we have, the merrier. Bring your friends, bring your wives, bring your soulmates with or without their eyes - doesn't matter who you are, you're welcome to vote. ♥
If you vote on one team's story for a particular day, try to make time to read and vote for the other team's story too, just to keep the numbers even.
The voting is out of 10 points. If you're not sure how to award points, you might consider this handy-dandy metric for guidance:
1. How in-character was this fic? (1-10)
2. How well did this fic fulfill the prompt? (1-10)
3. How much did you enjoy this fic overall? (1-10)
You don't have to choose one story to "win" over the other! If you think they're both 10s, you can say so!
Be honest with your votes. You don't have to give all 10s to everyone just to be nice. Remember -- everybody's scores will be averaged at the end.
