2015 KuroFai Olympics - Posting Date Revision and Extension

Well, CLAMPers, it looks like things are getting just a little bit tight and squeezy as the posting dates loom closer! I've had a few requests for a possible extension, and seeing as we've just had our second participant from Team Fantasy have to drop out due to life (and how inconsiderate it is to those of us with fandom commitments, ugh) I thought it would probably be a good idea to give everyone a little extra time!

Please find below your still colourful but slightly changed posting schedule, and take note of your new posting date.



I've moved the dates back a further week to give you all a little more time, but pinch-hitters will still be posting a day after the main body of participants, in order to squeeze as much times as possible from the schedule for them. Our second pinch-hitter for Team Fantasy is yet to be allocated edit: animangod has signed up as our second pinch-hitter for Team Fantasy, for which we are all very grateful, and I'll adjust the schedule to reflect this shortly. Thank you, animangod !

Now, if anyone has any conflicts or unavailable days for the above posting schedule, please let me know as soon as possible, and I will do my best to juggle dates around once more. I'd also really appreciate it if all participants could please check in below, and let me know how you're going in terms of progress. There's been a bit of radio silence, and I want to know you're all okay!

Hey~ I'm actually pretty happy about this extension. I'm on target so far anyway, but extra time for editing is probably going to be crucial, haha. Thanks for keeping on top of everything. It's a shame people have had to pull out but RL can be an enormous jerk sometimes. Best of luck to the pinch-hitters.
How is everyone doing with their fics? I think I was aiming for 'dark but understated with original plot and worldbuilding' and ended up with 'mildly absurd with cliched Fai victimisation and birds'.

Birds are always a welcome addition to TRC, seeing as it's got the 'wings and feathers' thing going on! I'm really interested to see what your fic is gonna turn out like- colour me intrigued!

Naturally, hitsuzen possessed me into a plot that works well with the dropped prompt. Because hitsuzen works wonders that way.

This will work just fine with me, though I am also keeping up with my goals, the story is ending up being longer than I anticipated, so extra time will be great! I'm sure I'll need a boat load of editing too :) Good luck to the pinch hitters, and sorry about the life suckage for those who had to drop out. I hope you still have the chance to complete your stories, if that's what you want to do!

My story is going well, with evil technology, philosophical discussions, and forced isolation. Wahoo!

Ahaha, olymfic has a way of growing far longer than expected; last year I anticipated 12-15k, ended up with nearly 30k. I am glad to hear you're proceeding well and with lots of exciting things too! Woo, evil tech and philosophy!

Best wishes to our teammates who had to leave the race- I'm hoping to see some fic from them once everything has calmed down :)
