I loved the way the prompt was handled. There was so much thought put into the world-building and the descriptions were fantastic, full of details and easy to imagine. It was incredibly creative and such a different, interesting take on the apocalypse. Simply brilliant.

2. How well written was the fic? 10/10
Your writing style is beautiful. Kurogane's voice was captured effortlessly and every character was fleshed out and in character. Again, the descriptions were amazing. And the action scenes had me at the edge of my seat.


3. How much did I enjoy this fic overall? 10/10
100000/10 actually! This is exactly the type of AU I love to read, with just the right nods to canon but a fresh enough spin to it that still makes you wonder what's going to happen next and how things will turn out in the end.
I LOVED the way you subverted the "Good morning, Kurogane" because I had been waiting for it (and preparing myself for it, tbh) but in the end it was the sweetest moment and.... aaaaahhhh you're brilliant!
Extra kudos for getting Kurogane to sing, too.
And for including Fei Wang Reed. I don't remember ever reading a fic in which his characterization was as well-done as this.

Thank you :D I don't usually make this much use of Fei Wang so I'm glad I was able to keep him IC (that was one of the hardest parts when writing, actually, figuring out a reason why Kurogane would agree to help someone who is so obviously a villain, but I think I made it work).
