There were characterizations I thought weren't quite "canon", but I basically work with the assumption that we all write our own characters in the end lol. The one thing I would say is that I thought a lot of the characters had the same "voice" (as in using similar vocabulary and slang). If you ever were to rewrite this in the future, that is one thing I'd be mindful of - making sure that they can sound like individual people.

2. How well did this fic handle the prompt? 10
This does have the exact line we're looking for and it makes explicit references to the source material in an amusing way!

3. How much did you enjoy this fic overall? 8
Overall, this was a very light-hearted and fun story to read - sort of a reprieve from the heavier stuff. I found the situations amusing and I thought multiple moments would have made me genuinely laugh aloud if this were a movie! Reflecting on it after it's all done, though, I would have liked to see a little more fleshed out with Kurogane and Fai as characters - this strikes me as almost an intro, you know? I thought there were some questions about them that weren't properly answered. But it was very funny - thank you for writing and sharing this!!
