Prompt: Fantastic beasts and where to find them
Rating: Teen
Warnings: included on each individual chapter, but nothing overt! One instance of very mild gore, and one instance of mild misgendering, and general Fai Sadness.
Author's Notes: An urban fantasy AU! I had a great time writing it. Happy KF Olympics, everybody.

10; Fai was motherly, Sakura was kind, Syaoran was such a good kid and Kuro was a grump. Sounds right XD

9; it felt a lil bit more like a magical AU than going for the monster theme but it still went with it!

10; I love witches and monsters and self-sacrificing Fai with gradual build up of Kurofai feels!

2. How well did this fic handle the prompt? (1-10) 10 I really dug that the prompt was the shop plot of the story once they realized what they were looking for.
3. How much did you enjoy this fic overall? (1-10) 9.5. I just wish there was more! Though I know you mentioned there would be. Just domestic fluff and urban fantasies are my life blood. It took me some time to get into it, but after a few paragraphs I was hooked and have been reading it all day.

10. I love urban fantasy, and this whole universe, with all the witchy stuff and mythical creatures, was amazing. I also adored the character interactions with eachother and your writing style on the whole!

10 - Everyone was written so well, from Fai and Kurogane to Subaru and Hokuto and even Kakei and Saiga. I dare say that you even did Seishirou's character justice.

10 - There were so many creatures bottled up in this fic and Fai (and even Kurogane!) was a good guide through them all.

10 - I'm still in awe with the fic's world building, and how much thought was put into it all. The lore notes themselves are good to know, and helps one appreciate the little things even more.

You did a fantastic job keeping everyone in character. Even the supporting cast seemed perfect. What’s even more impressive is that all the characters seemed to have a depth to them that is pretty rare in many stories.

I felt that you did a really good job filling the prompt. I love the world you created. However, it felt almost like the magical creatures were just there in the world you created but were not the real focus of the story.

I really enjoyed the story. You did a wonderful job creating the world, made the characters feel very real, and wrote the story beautifully. It would be interesting to see what other adventures the characters could go on. I really really love this fic to bits! Shelving this for a re-read sometime in the near future and coming back with much better comments for this brilliant piece - for now I would just say that this was inspiring and enjoyable in all the best ways! The world-building is superb! The character dynamics and interactions are adorable! All the angst was delightful!
