The prompt claim post will go up tomorrow, Saturday 7/15, at 2 PM Pacific time. (You can use this handy timezone converter to figure out when that will be in your zone.) Please try to be around if you can so that you can discuss with your teammates who will take what prompt, so that nobody gets stuck with a prompt they don't like.

I just have one question - will there be a post clarifying the POV rules and expectations for this year?

Yoooo maybe a dumb rookie question and i'm sorry if this has been answered before (i've not found anything on it so far) but how exactly does posting work? if we're writing a multichapter fic should we post all chapters at once? do all entries have to be posted on the same day, or does it happen over the course of several weeks?

Hey there! Olympics veteran here, ready to answer your question.

Generally the way it works is, there will be a week long "posting period" in which each writer for each prompt will be assigned a day to post. So like, prompt one writers for both teams will post on day one, prompt two writers will post on day two, and so on.

If you write a multi-chapter fic, you must post all chapters on your assigned day, or else your fic will be marked incomplete and you will be penalised points. As it's an event, it wouldn't be far to give extra writing time to someone because their fic has multiple chapters. So just make sure if you do post a multi-chapter, you post all parts of it on the same day.

I'm sure the mods will provide a posting schedule soon, with what dates everyone is posting their entries for each prompt. Best of luck!
