[Spring Olympics] Teams, dates, and understudies
Here are the current arrangements for the Spring Olympics:
Canon team:
farenmaddox
cloverfield
mikkeneko
badluck_koi
kittenkin
jezzra
AU team:
reikah
eijentu
tsubasafan
uakari
nemothefairy
caffeine_buzz
Understudy:
zelinxia
These teams are not set in stone. I placed people first according to stated preference, then moved around people who stated they could be on either team so that the numbers were even. If you're not comfortable with your assignment, please let me know and I'll try to move people around.
At least one person will be needed as an understudy. (cloverfield is exempted, since she was the understudy last round.) If you think you could write for either Canon or AU, please consider volunteering to be the understudy -- there is always someone who has to back out of a contest for real-life reasons. If someone does need back out of the contest, their prompt day will be shunted to the end of the posting schedule to give the understudy the maximum possible time to write. Because of this, if you do discover that you need to drop out, please let us know as early as possible!
Proposed dates:
March 25th-April 15th writing
April 16th-21st posting
The prompts will be posted on Friday, March 23rd. At that time people from each team should confer among themselves to decide who will take which prompt. The 'official' writing period starts Sunday March 25th, and ends Sunday April 15th. Posting will then begin on Monday, April 16th, and one person from each team will post each day for the next week.
A few more details:
1) There are no length, content or rating restrictions on your fics. The only requirements is that they must be appropriate to the prompt, must be either Canon or AU according to your team, and must contain Kuro/Fai themes.
2) "Canon" refers to ANY point during the known sequence of series events: before the series, during the series, or post-series. Holitsuba technically counts as canon, not AU, but I would generally prefer it if you avoided this setting. "AU" refers to any world, universe or setting NOT included in the TRC/Holic/Holitsuba cluster. You can either invent a world of your own, or use an existing world from another, non-CLAMP series.

At the moment we have an uneven number of people. But since

The only thing I ask is that my posting day not be on the 20th of April... which I think is the 19th your time, because I have tickets to see a show that night and I don't want to lose either fic or the date night I've planned with my girlfriend for a month now. I don't care if this means I post earlier or later, whenever is fine as long as it's not that night. :)
