Olympics Voting Officially Open!
I'm proud to call a close to the posting week of the second Kuro/Fai Olympics, Canon Vs. AU. The writing is over; the voting begins!
Voting for the Spring Olympics will remain open until Friday, May 11th; as per several people's requests, I have extended the deadline another week.

*Everyone throw zelinxia an BIG round of applause for stepping up to cover not one, but TWO prompts when the original participants had to bow out!
In response to several peoples' queries, voting WILL be opened to anonymous voters, even those who do not have LiveJournal or Dreamwidth accounts. The only requirement is that when voting, you identify yourself by linking to a fandom-related tumblr, FanFiction.net account, Archive of Our Own page, blog, et cetera. IP tracking will also be turned on to prevent any double-voting.
There's an Official Voter's Code, too!
- If you vote on one team's story for a particular day, try to make time to read and vote for the other team's story too, just to keep the numbers even.
- The voting is out of 10 points. If you're not sure how to award points, you might consider this handy-dandy metric for guidance:
1) How well did the story suit the prompt?
2a) How "original" was the story? (for Canon team, and)
2b) How "in-character" was the story? (for AU team)
And last but not least,
3) How much did I enjoy the story overall?
- You don't have to choose one story to "win" over the other! If you think they're both 10s, you can say so!
- Be honest with your votes. You don't have to give all 10s to everyone just to be nice. Remember -- everybody's scores will be averaged at the end.
Remember we need readers and voters as much as writers to make the Olympics succeed. So come on and do your thing!

I am glad to be of assistance. I will never underestimate the serious important role of the understudy ever again. ^.^
Still have the two longest fic left to read. Until then, happy reading and voting!

I've been busy, too, and I've only managed 5 out of 14, so far, (love and kisses to EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED. YOU ARE THE GREATEST BUNCH OF FANFICCERS THAT EVER LIVED!) even though I'm spending all my free time blissfully glued laptop! :p
I WILL READ THEM ALL, EITHER WAY, BUT IF YOU WANT MY VOTE, I NEED MORE TIME, PLEASE! o/

Writers and readers seem to have the same problem this year. xD

It's weird because of my school's system we're only in our midterms now. >.> (Like last year, the Olympics was put at the end of this month and I couldn't read and vote on all in time because around that time I was preparing for finals week...)

Last minute voter
It has made me incredibly happy to come back and have all of your stories to read.

ALL THE LOVE FOR THE WRITERS! You totally brightened this spring with the olympics and each and every entry was a creative little marvel! Or not so little in some cases... xDDD
I'm sort of curious if there's a winner now, because most stories got pretty high scores and there probably isn't a really clear high score this time around.
