Summary: The world should have been abandoned. It should have been easy to get in, get what he needed, and get out. But when he arrived, the lights were on. Of all the things he’d been expecting, that was down at the bottom of the list between unlikely and highly improbable. The only thing that ranked lower on the list was the discovery that the world wasn’t quite as abandoned as it was supposed to be.
