Firstly I would like to tell you how much I enjoyed the use of second person. It really added this element of consonance throughout the piece that took it to a whole new level of sadness. Not to mention is was expertly done. Overall it was probably my favorite element to the piece as a whole.

Furthermore, I, for whatever reason, loved the description of Fai's hands through Kurogane's perspective. I suppose it's because I never really considered the lasting effects of Fai's childhood injuries in his adult life. The idea in itself was new and so I really enjoyed reading it because nowadays it's becoming less and less rare to find entirely fresh perspectives. I really appreciate this small detail.

But I guess I am left to wonder how exactly they went about getting Syaoran better. Hopefully it wasn't as difficult or angst filled. :3
